Queensmoor Primary are on their year 6 school trip to see a rare event at a Devon botanical garden, but little do they know they’re going to get a much more unusual experience than they bargained for.
When killer plants go on the rampage, it’s down to hapless gardener Bob, and his faithful (if slightly stinky) dog, Toad, to save the day, but will either of them survive?
The disastrous day is described from different perspectives, with hilarious and touching accounts from some of the Queensmoor students, which show us the importance of considering another’s point of view.
Bursting with dog treats of varying calibres, some slightly questionable doughnuts, and an evil cat by the name of Mr. Flufflesworth, this action packed adventure is shrouded in mystery. What will it take to solve the crime, is there more to our furry little hero than meets the eye, and what will happen to those caught up in the crossfire?

This book is amazing! I’d definitely recommend it. I love the way it switches between characters speaking, so you have a third person and first person experience, making you feel more sides of the story. I also like that you get to hear from the dog. It’s funny, scary, brilliant. Five stars all the way.
